01. THE NEED
In 2015, Ekam Yoga Festival was launched in a small coastal town to bring the regional community together. The first year was a grassroots effort and I was asked to help spread the word, establish a social media presence and build followers.
02. THE WORK
The first year was challenging, with little to no content regarding the upcoming event or photos of past events. We educated and connected with the target audience through social media, digital newsletters and media releases.
03. THE RESULT
From zero followers and little content in year one, Ekam Yoga Festival grew to over 2,000 followers on Facebook and Instagram with a healthy level of engagement for the sought-after regional festival that sold out drawing a crowd from a 400 km radius.
